Dr. Chinh
Chinh was born and raised in Vietnam. Her family immigrated to the United States when she was 14 years old. Chinh completed her master and doctoral education in Social Work, specializing in mental health, advanced clinical practice, and leadership. Her clinical research interests include mood disorders, anxiety, intergenerational trauma, and maternal mental health. She is also a board-approved clinical supervisor for future clinicians pursuing their LCSW licensure.
Chinh is grounded in the psychoanalytic theoretical framework. She has experience in providing interpersonal therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. She works with her clients to individualize treatment approaches, where therapy goals are discussed and planned jointly.
